| Last night turned on my new Ft-450d that i bought myself for Christmas and the VFO knob has gone crazy . At first it started counting up when turned down , so either direction you turned it would count up. Now it just jumps all over the place, tried a complete reset but didnt help now i have to send back. |

Damn, that sucks. Unfortunately it happens and that's why there is warranty. Stuff that is going to fail will usually do so in the first 30-90 days, better now than a year & a day later. A side note, it's always a good idea to let new electronics burn in for 24-48 hours for this very reason. |
