Went to my first ham radio club tonight! Met a great bunch of guys and talked a little about homemade antennas. They were looking for a place in my county to have the meetings, so it looks likes next month it will be at my shop! I guess I got some cleaning to do. I owe a lot of this to you guys! Thanks for the constant pushing to get my ticket and for making it interesting sounding enough to make me want to see what it is all about.

so it looks likes next month it will be at my shop! so, whadyagot? can you mill things, like project enclosures? can you bend sheet metal, such as might be used on a EMCOMM box? ... ar-jedi One of my projects is restoring 1 of the 5 Pacman machines back to prestine. I have two Coke machines I am cleaning up, and a few small engines/boat motors a co-worker and I are working on. I have a fork-lift I am trying to get back in proper service so I can get some of the junk off of the floor and back in the racks where it belongs. I do a little welding and minor woodworking, but I also have access to a CNC plasma and other larger machinery for some more technical projects. Right now it is just a large storage area/mancave , but I do fix a few things from time to time. Next project is getting some feedlines in to start on the ham shack corner of the shop. 60x40x16 do-all room.
