Got my General a couple years ago......
My station consists of : FT 840 with an LDG tuner FT2800 Ft-60 Wouxun KG-UV3D I run 2 Dipoles at about 25' , one is a radioworks double bazooka 20m and the other is the windom that AFM had up here a while back. Would love to have some different antennas, or at least get them higher.... I rent a house that has a metal roof and aluminum studs (was in style on the coast for a while I guess) and have power lines on 2 sides...... the noise I pick up on HF is crazy! |
