From the other thread, you'll see I got this one yesterday.

How do  I enter a pll for the repeaters in Dallas.  I got the freq's but don't know how to enter a pll.

Could not find it in the manual.

Thanks

Do you mean PL as in 'Private Line'?

I believe you are needing to enter CTCSS/DCS codes.

Page 30 of the manual.

ETA.

Knowing how to enter info from the radio face is important and all but its MUCH, MUCH easier to do it via software.

O.K., I have a question.  How do you edit a channel in memory, or delete it altogether?  Can't find this in the manual.

Page 46.

Just like initially setting up a memory channel.

You're just overwriting the previous entry.

Thanks.  Found out how to get rid of it altogether:

a) Get out of Memory Group mode, but remain in memory mode.

b) Press MonF until the [F] turns into a [W].

c) Rotate the dial to the memory channel desired.

d) Press V/M for 2 seconds.
