I helped get another repeater up and fully operational today , another is under going testing and it will be up maybe this week end , bringing the club total to 5 . Its mainly because of k4mjo , he has put alot of his money and time in these machines . The system has consisted of 3 machines for a long time but as of recent they have improved greatly and with the addons its great . Yeah full time , he also want to expand to below richmond around petersburg but leave as a part time link do to most of us dont like talking to the guys up there lol . We have been building a good working relation ship with the club out of smithfield on the .195 machine . We link up on monday and thurday night nights via irlp and the raleigh reflector . You should try to check in one night . |
Well that sounds pretty neat. I think I can hit the Smithfield machine from my house, so I'll have to give it a try when I have a free weeknight (yeah right  )
edit: Well I can hit it but I can't hear much over the noise, I'll have to set up the 2m beam for that one. |
