Anyone running this combo? I'm using 3.12 on Ubuntu 9.10 and it quit working. I hadn't done any system updates and used it as recently as last month. However, something's keeping the software from working with my Signalink USB. I've used the setup for well over a year without any problems until recently. Now the SL never goes into transmit mode and I get the following error from fldigi:

trx_trx_receive_loop: Sound error: Connection timed out

It's not a hardware problem because I can move the SL to my netbook and it works just fine. I tried deleting the fldigi config and re-creating it but that didn't work. I haven't received a single response from the NBEMS mailing list so I thought I might try here.

Crud man, sorry to hear that. I don't have an interface myself, so can't replicate your setup.

Hey, October's only 2 months away (new distro release). So you might try jumping to Lucid now since you're still on Intrepid, see if Lucid fixes things. Then if not, you only have to wait until October for Maverick.

I'm on the Karmic Koala.

I upgraded the laptop to the ol' Lucid Lynx. I've been debating on doing it to the desktop. Might be worth a shot. Hope you're doing well GT. Lemme know if you head back down here.

I've noticed that when I install kernel updates I've had to re-config Wine's access to my USB and Serial ports.  I run my FT-1500 programmer, HX370S programmer and Win97 scanner programmer via WINE.

Hmm, good to know that but I'm not using Wine for fldigi. I can't win. Now my rig control (which worked last night) isn't.
