Updates? Hope y'all both passed.
Just curious. Anyone have a recent Extra book they'd part with? I've been asked by a couple of the students from my General class if I was going to teach an Extra class. I'm toying with the idea but I'm too cheap to buy the ARRL book.

| 33 out of 35. they had me try the general test but i hadnt studied one bit and told them but they still had me try. did pretty good on the start but went down hill fast. LOL. tech is done going in 3 months to try for general. lead guy said it should show up on the website middle to the end of the week. searching for local feq's so i can build a list. have an icom IC-V8 as well as a vertex XV800 for 2 meeter. now all i need is to get an antenna for my truck and a small amp till i can get a mobile. |

Great job. Did you test at the VA Beach Hamfest? I went there this morning to get some connectors and such. If you're local to Hampton Roads, I can recommend some repeater freqs for you. |

If you're local to Hampton Roads, I can recommend some repeater freqs for you. thats were i had originally planed to go but found another test site that just happened to be today and closer. the Va beach hamfest would have been 70 miles plus the CBBT toll. the one i went to was in Salisbury Md which is closer and no toll. i wanted to go to Va beach but i knew i would have spent WAY to much money. |
