I have a 2 meter amp with a 4 pin power connector that I'm having a hard time indentifying. It has a total of 4 pins. The | vertical pins on the right are positive and the - horizontal pins on the left are negative. The connector looks like this.

Yep, its a Jones Plug...........although they work, they are 60+ year old technology in connectors. My two meter amp uses this same plug also.
The problem with them is, unless they have a mechanical lock on them, they tend to stretch with plugging and unpluging and can vibrate loose in mobile operation unless the wiring harness is secured near the plug to prevent any pulling on the connector. |

You might want to consider putting in modern Molex socket.

This will take the same plug that is used on many Icom and Yaesu radios: http://www.powerwerx.com/product.asp?ProdID=1046&CtgID=1003
These are wired with 2 positive (both Y'd together) and 2 negative leads, total of four, even though the plug/socket has room for 6. It may take a little work with a "nibbler" to open up the hole in the chassis, or if the Molex socket is smaller, making an adapter plate from a scrap of aluminum, say, an old aluminum lid from a project box, and popriviting the plate to the chassis. But using the Molex would allow interchangability with other modern gear. Or you could make a block of four Anderson PowerPoles, and turn two horizontal, two vertical if you want. But they will only plug in one way. Then put a piece of large heat shrink around the 4-pole bundle to keep them in one piece. And various chassis mount PowerPole accessories: http://www.powerwerx.com/anderson-powerpoles/accessories/ |

Cinch Jones is it. I would like to put one of these in instead.
