They asked me what a certain chart was called, gave me four choices. I knew it was a Smith chart.
I don't know how to use it, they didn't ask me that, but I know what it looks like. 
I only studied for the Extra a few days. It was suggested I take it for "the experience." I barely passed the Extra just 38/50. But 45/50 is excellent! |

Cheater.  I was a communications Electronics Technician in the Navy. I was surprised at how little I'd retained. Well, I guess it was still in there, it just took some digging out.
For radios I couldn't be happier with my FT-8800s and wish I had more. I just dumped my IC-718 for the IC-7000 and it's been a great upgrade. |
