Is there a common, established practice or "default" PL code for MURS channels?

I was wondering, it seems as if everyone I hear on those freq. are using them, they never respond to me when calling them, I suspect it's obviously that I am not using their PL code but was curious if there is a "common" set for each one...

Thanks

I run mine CSQ TX/RX when analog, but my guess is that most people do have codes on theirs. I see DPL 143 on batlabs, but other than that I haven't really found a standard bandplan.

Thanks Tony... I'm using HT1000s and MT2000s and it's a pain as you know to switch this stuff, was hoping to hear there is some standard PL to use... I wish people knew they were cutting themselves off from potential help by using these "privacy codes" ...

You're welcome! I'd just throw one in the transmit block and leave the receive squelch clear. I'd stick with D143 since it seems that that is what the BatBoard standard is for non-ASTRO analog.

And this is why FPP is the cat's meow! I keep meaning to add MURS to my P25 radio.
