Just got my license in the mail on thursday, went to hamfest today and bought a FT60R, figured out the ctcss hit a "machine" and got a call!!!! Damn this is cool, my wife is laughing at me. lol oh well

You will like your FT 60, it was my first Radio. It is well built and I am now using it for low earth orbit satillite contacts.
