[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Calling frequencies?

I finally got my FT897 and ATAS-120 setup (had to install 40m resonant radials to get it to work).

What are the calling frequencies to try at 40m? (I didn't see anything for phone SSB mode, but did see one for QRP calling).

Pretty much the entire band. Usually on most of the HF bands there is not a specific calling frequency. On 10m that is the exception. Inless you are looking for DX and there are some specific places to check.
