I am trying to decide if I am going to buy a Vexilar flasher sonar unit. I don't really understand why they are popular. I graduated from flashers to graphing sonars a long time ago. I never liked the flashers and have a hard time making any sense of the data. Are there valid reasons to use a flasher or could I get as much or more utility out of a portable graphing sonar?
Any useful information is appreciated. We just spent a very frustrating week of ice fishing with not knowing if we were on fish or not. |
