i need some help. i am heading down to sarasota florida in january for a trip and and all my fishing gear is mainly for smaller fish in NY, i am looking to get something bigger for salmon starting next year and want to get it before i head down. any advice? i have used spinning reels 99% of the time and saw some conventional reels that hold some serious line. i will be shore fishing the whole time and am in no means a serious fisher, so I'm looking to spend under 150 for a rod and reel that would be good for my trip and also good size salmon from the lake.
