Had a request for a LSU rod and came up with this. Being a Gator fan I had to curse it before it left my shop LOL.

Beautiful rod, an Ohio State Buckeyes rod would already be cursed

I troll for muskie and use $25 catfish rods but my casting rod/reel is a little bit pricier

A rod with "MUCK FICHIGAN" would be a hot seller in my area

Do you make these in any blank or how does this work and what is your prices?

I troll 98% of the time and don't need a great rod just for trolling and it has to have a "trigger" or finger post to lock into my Down East rod holder

That LSU rod is really nice

ETA do you make them heavy spined like a catfishing rod?

I can pretty much build on any blank ya want but tend to shy away from the "heavy" type rods. I like building inshore and light-med freshwater rods because that's what I know and how I fish.  If ya check out a rod building site like mudhole.com you can get an idea of component prices.  For a basic build I charge $100 labor.  That's breaks down to about $11 an hour + all my shop supplies like epoxy, rags, thread etc...  For that particular LSU build, I charged $130 labor. Rod total was $285, and he gave me a $20 tip which was nice.

Hopefully I didn't break any ARFCOM rules with this post. If I did please revise it.

Edited for spelling. ;)
