Does anyone have some advice on how to build a good crawfish/crayfish/crawdad/mudbug trap?

That trap shown in the link is lke my dad's old minnow traps.  For minnows just put in some stale pieces of bread.

You can buy for about 20 bucks a crayfish trap from Bass Pro Shops (Cabelas may have them as well).  I have used em with bacon and they work pretty well.

the pillow traps are expensive but the fold up family type traps are 2 bucks apiece..  down here.
