Just watched the Mist...very excellent movie, especially for a SHTF scenario.  Has this movie been talked about here in the Survival Discussions?

Only the discussion about if 5.56 is enough for 15 pound mosquitoes or do you need a good 308 round.

it has, however i don't see a reason why we can't talk some more.

I would prefer a shotgun with #6 shot for 15 pound mosquitoes.

I did a search and didn't find anything (of course I can only search 3 mos back).  I thought it was interesting from a standpoint of how people's ability to thing rationally breaks down during  extreme situations.  Granted this was a fictional work, but I thought it was very well protrayed.  Especially in the end when Thomas Jane's character had to make the ultimate decision to end everyone's lives in the vehicle.

Also, did you notice that they had an accurate round count for the revolver?

He just "jumped the gun a little to soon at the end"
I liked the movie

I liked the short story better.

The ending of the movie was too unbelievable. The short story ended better - although it wasn't a "happy" ending either.

I didn't think the book had a real ending, but it was still a good read.
