My brother and I got our javelina this morning (mine with a AR, of course. ) I shot mine at about 30 yards while he was at a full run. A heart shot, two front barrel rolls, and he was down. My brother got his at 50 yards with a 55 grain ballistic tip from a 223 Weatherby.

The weigh about 35-40 lbs field dressed. A 60 pound javelina, live weight is huge; with one topping the scales at 50 is a porker
