Have been looking for a BX series Kubota for about a year. Got this one on Iron Planet. I think I got a pretty good deal.

that's a good price on a great subcompact.

check the oil level in the front axle after you take delivery.

Thanks - does anyone know if the Kubota warranty is transferable? It only has 14 hours on it. I bought it without looking at it (I live in GA)

That's a peach.

I'm very impressed with the price. Around here that's probably a $12,000+ tractor on a good day.

I got nervous because I was the only bid. With 14 hours I can't imaging anything wrong with it

Not bad. I think they have extended warranty.

I just got a quote on the same tractor/bucket but with a 60" 3 point finish mower was $16,700

The warranty is 2 years, but if you need warranty work I would just take it to a dealer and if they ask just say you bought it out of state.

That is a amazing deal, I just paid 19,500 for a 2017 BX2760 with a few other things on it. You did unbelievable.

Will the box blade on the back be enough ballast for FEL work? Also, I'm assuming I need to take it to a dealer to get the rear tires filled with water/antifreeze?

Box blade should be plenty for that tractor, filled tires will make it more stable on rough terrain.

I'm planning on bringing it to the local dealer to have it serviced when I get it next week. I'm assuming the dealer can add the water to the rear tires. With the box blade and the rear tires filled - would that be too much weight in the rear?

Depends on the grass

Weight in the tires doesn't add any weight to the axle

You want the tires fluid filled for sure.

Sometimes brush can damage the hydro fan. You can buy a shield from a couple of sources. I used windshield washer fluid to fill my rear tires (you don't want the tire completely filled...just enough to cover the top of the metal rim). The tie rod boots tend to get tore-up if you are around woody plants. Some have issues with the front tires leaking (it's hard to notice they are low)...suppose to have about 20 lbs. of air with the FEL...if you have a leak, you can get tubes installed or a product similar to "slime" from the Kubota dealer. I have the exact same model that you purchased and it now has about 60 hours. I use it more than my bigger tractor. It is very handy in tight places or places with bit of a slope. A mid-mount mower does a great job too...they cost about 2 grand for a new one as I recall. Many, many attachments are available for them...just make sure they will work with this size tractor (some post hole diggers don't work right). It will surprise you what all you can do with it...just beware of slopes, go up and down hills if they are steep (use low range), keep your bucket just high enough that you don't hit unseen obstructions, keep loads low...especially when turning and be very, very careful with a loaded bucket on a slight slope (of if your front wheels are turned) when lifting and finally, remember the ROPS can hit garages & limbs (big limbs can cause you to flip). They are really a great tractor for their size .

I definitely would of bought it and I haven't bought my land yet. Hell just to drive around my neighborhood to  aggravate my neighbors with. I'm five years from retirement and starting to browse Craigslist to get prices on equipment and that's a smoking deal.

Kittyhawk - Browse www.ironplanet.com - they always have some good deals and I was surprised about how cheap shipping was.
