We have a weasel that keeps getting into the chicken house and killing my ducks.  It has been quiet since last spring but he just got another one last night.

I have tried stew meat (bloodiest meat I can find, liver is all frozen in stores around here) in a box trap, never got anything.

This last time he dug under the wall, I am tempted leave the hole (and get rid of the duck currently stuck in it) shut the birds in the other side and throw the two barn cats in there for a welcoming committee tonight...

I think you would find two dead cats. Weasels are mean. I would recommend a one way gate on the way it is gaining access, noose style trap, etc and then have a porthole under a window so you can slip the barrel of a 410 or 22 rifle in in and blast him in the morning.

I am going to leave it open tonight I think, not sure about what to use for a trap yet but I will have something along with a game camera to see what it is for a POS.  I am thinking about rat snap traps and just trying to kill the thing outright.  I have never seen one, according to wikipedia they can weigh up to a pound which isn't very big.

I think if I closed off his entrance he would just make a new exit to get back out.

I had the intention this fall when it cools down to put steel around the building down about a foot around the walls to keep things from digging in, he kinda beat me to it.

Always used a good old fashioned Rat Trap. Never fails.
