Got a year old chicken who has come up kinda lame in right leg/foot. Eating and drinking fine, can't find an injury. Not egg bound.  What do you think is wrong with her and what remedy is there?

Does the foot look inflamed at all? If it does, it could be bumblefoot, a staph bacteria infection which can be treated via soaking in epson salts and with antibiotics.

If not, it could be a sprain or twist injury, and should clear up within a week.

As long as she's up and otherwise going about her business as normal, I'd not worry too much unless it persists or starts getting worse.

It's been like this for two weeks, I have checked for bumble foot, but no signs.

I had a turkey get like that, butchered it and found the hip was dislocated.  Might have gotten in a fight etc.  Hold her by the legs and see if there is any movement that shouldn't be there.

I currently have a hen who had a compound fracture of the middle toe.  Bone was sticking out!  Sprayed it with Wound-Kote (purple antispeticspray) and pretty much let her be.  Her whole foot swole up and I thought I'd lose her to infection.  She hopped around on one foot for about a month.  Now the would has closed (bone covered again) and is walking on it (still with a slight limp).  She eats and can get up and down from the roost.  She's an old bird and I don't think she's laying anymore but she healed up just fine.

Add some vitamins to her water and keep an eye on her.  I was quite surprised mine came through as good as she did.  Resilient old bat.

EDIT: If she's eating, drinking and roosting fine, I'd let her be.

She may have broken a leg.  That happened to our rooster, it's hard to tell that the leg is broken because of the way the outside of the leg keeps everything together.  My Rooster's leg healed fine, the vet x-rayed it and said to just let it be.  Yes, my wife spent a fortune on it in vet bills, it's her pet...

Yea, I know there just chickens but we are attached to them and feel responsible for them. I hope she gets better, just wish I could find a cure or just figure out what is wrong.

My oldest hen (7 years old and the only survivor of my original flock) that died a couple months ago came up lame. No injuries what so ever. Over a three week period she kept getting worse and finally rolled over on her side and quit moving at all. Had to put food and water right at her beak. I let this go on a couple of days and finally put her down. Sad day............
