Does anyone have any experience with these, or heard anything about them? I started reading on this request page on instructables.com which cause me to start reading the links in the comments sections.

| I ran across that article while I was in Anesthesia School some years back. I did HVAC work prior to becoming a Nurse and this shouldn't be hard to build. I, however, have no practical experience with the system. The reflector seems to take up a lot of real estate, and I often thought one might be better served having the generator portion over a wood stove (or insert your SHTF heat system of choice) in such a manner that it could be pivoted to the side to start the freeze cycle. |

I want to make a smaller version to use in our BPs using the burn pit as the heat source. I'm working on the math to scale it down right now, but I'm no engineer mind if I bounce stuff off you if I hit a wall? I wish I knew enough of the math and physics behind it to be of help. The actual physical construction––I feel that I could do, but please ask away. And post progress notes and pics! |
