Hi All,
Does anyone have any good photos or video links of jerry cans in use? I purchased the set of 4 from DO and they're kicking my butt. I've been staring at them for about a week. Every now and then I would walk over and try to open one, then go sit back on the couch and continue my previous activity. This went on until just now. I was watching a video of a 12v pump for use with the cans and there it was! I zoomed in on the can in the video and noticed........... You have to pull the pin out  LOL.
Anyway, the spout seems to have a little plastic tab with 2 screws... I see where it fits but what purpose does it serve? Thanks, -Coop |
Yeah, pull the pin. 
The little plastic bracket that comes with the spout attaches to the face of the handle, at the base, right next to the opening in the can. THere should be 2 holes there. You can attach the bracket to the can, through those 2 holes so that the spout is stored, low profile, between 2 of the 3 carry handles. I couldn't figure it out for awhile either, but somebody posted a pic...and it immediately became clear.
