Last year, at a Walmart in Georgia, I found a small bag of Purple/Blue seed potatoes.  I don't have the package anymore and I can't find them this year.  My wife uses them to make purple potato chips.  I would love to know what type of potato it was.  I have a few left I hope to plant this year and then replant to get a decent supply.  Any help would be appreciated.

ETA: In case I wasn't clear, these were seed potatoes, not potatoes out of the veggie dept.  I planted and harvested them.

There are several blue/purple potato varieties.  Browse around here:

Ronniger Potato Farm

I've ordered from these folks several times over the past few years and always been very pleased with the company/products.

I've been finding them at the garden nurseries and farm stores here.  It's still a couple months before they open though. My son's football team went to the finals last year so I made him blue and gold french fries for his team's colors (all blue potatoes and yukon golds)
