| what do you guys use for the border of the garden? in order to make it easier to mow, I am considering putting up a 2 X 6 or 8 treated lumber border. any problems you guys see with that? unfortunately this will be a fall project. |

Just keep in mind that if you put in a vertical border, you're trading mowing for weedeating. 
We don't do a border because we have too many linear feet of garden edge to make it cost-effective. Plus it becomes just something else to maintain. It would also interfere with getting machines in and out of the plots. YMMV. |

yep, us too. it's either mowed or tilled. Nothing in between!
