Can I plant an old bag of potatoes if they have started to sprout? Or am I wasting my time? I found them in the the pantry and was going to throw them out.

Yes you can plant them. You could cut them into pieces at least 1"x1"x1" with at least one eye or sprout on each piece. let them dry out for 2-3 days then plant. In MS you could do this now.
