Not really a garden or prepping querstion.

Last year my daughter got a small Red Oak from Girl Scouts. We planted it in our back yard and it is growing quite nicely. However last week while cutting the grass I noticed that it looks like the leafs are being eaten by some sort of bug. I looked closely but didnt see any bugs however. What can I spray on the tree that will take care/repel bugs but not harm the tree. Its about 1.5 feet tall now and it was planted from a sapling that was about 6 inchs tall.

It gets plenty of water and has been fertilized this year also.

I'm thinking either Seven Dust or the spray version of Seven?

Thanks
