Well, another experiment failed. Pulled turnips right before Christmas and stored them in an unheated room off my shop that doesn't get below freezing. Went to get some today and they were shriveled up and moldy. How do you folks preserve turnips. I really don't like them that much but now it hase become personal........LOL

This works around here, they mowed them in the fall after we gave up on them, and dang if they did not just keep, but they began to sprout out again in the spring. Didn't Fordguy have something to say about this also? |
