Alas the current jug is still working and will not be ready for "green" tasting on Christmas. This batch will be a Blush but when I started it the hydrometer showed a high sugar content in the jucie 6 weeks ago.  I come from a old family of German home wine makers, nothing fancy. I will say that the grapes are from vines that are over 80 years old and lovingly cared for over the years, large dark concords. And added whites that I got from a farm market. I wish I could say that this is "organic" but not sure of the whites.
Interested in others wine makers out there. Nothing fancy just nice home made wine.

I'm more of a beer guy but I've made a few batches of wine.  My first attempt was a dandelion wine.  That took forever and I only got 4 bottles out of it in the end.  Now I just buy 5 gallon buckets of juice from California when it's in season.  There's nothing to it that way.

I have the premeir muscadine grower in the US about 30 minutes away.  Every august I buy a case of scuppernongs that result in about 3 dozen bottles that last about a year and a half for us.  good stuff.

My last wine making experiment was in the late70's/early 80s, using Welch's frozen concentrate, ala "Possum Livin' "
Wasn't half bad!

My parents have a couple concord vines, so I've done batches from that.  Turns out alright, but what I've found is that I can make *the best* vinegar from that wine.  They've got a persimmon orchard that I've done a batch or two out of as well.  Same deal, the wine is alright, but the vinegar is AWESOME.

The arfcom of winemaking is winepress.us  Alot of good people there and alot of good information. Everytime I go there I want to get back into it but I am in the process of selling my house so I don't want to deal with moving all of the equipment.
