I think I remember reading you cant long term store bisquick because of its fat content of somthing... It got me thinking the huge mondo same club of box of bisquick usually lasts laura and I over a year in our pantry and still makes good biscuts.
What makes it go bad if dumped into a mylar with an O2 absorber? |
| If I recall correctly, it is some toxin or fungus that occurs over time. I don't know what it is, sorry I can't help more. I think, if I remember right, mylar and O2 absorbers won't help. Why not just make your own biscuit mixes? I know there are recipes out there, Alton Brown has done a show on making his own pancake mixes, I'm sure this could be adapted to a general Biscuick like product. This will allow you to make smaller quantities and not have to worry about it spoiling. |
