Wife says drink it or get rid of it, clean out the cabinet, been going through allot the stuff- came across a 1978 bottle of Williams and Humbert Cream Sack, (sherry) what do I have here? Battery acid or? It is an Oloroso Sherry from Spain, imported. Have no idea where I got it. Will it make me go blind? 
Think it would be safe to drink? 
Beam Black is $40+ so if this can fit in the rotation with no damage....

| Should have an awesome flavor. Sherry is aged for at least 3 years anyways so the extra age should do it well. The alcohol that makes you go blind is methanol (wood alcohol). Ethanol is ethanol unless your booze got some bacteria in it to make it turn into vinegar...then you have awesome sherry vinegar for salads lol. |

Check the price first online, it could be worth a little bit of money.
Out of curiousity, I checked the price of some wine I brought back from Hungary that I'd forgotten about. I paid about $30 a bottle, and it is worth about $300 a bottle now. Tokay Azsu... I'll probably just end up drinking it anyway. |
