This is probably covered somewhere in the archives, so please excuse my asking... What's the best way to store oats? Also, what type of oats store the best? How well would instant oatmeal store? Also, what about cocoa? Can I just leave it in the packaging that it comes in? Would it last longer if I dumped a bunch into a mason jar with some O2 absorbers? Is there a way to store yeast without refrigeration? Someday I'll have that propane/kerosene/NG/whatever powered fridge, but that's a long way off. Any suggestions? |
