Sorry if these are repeats, but I am searching and not finding the answers. I have bought several books and watched just about every video on youtube and havent gotten a straight answer so far. If I am canning green beans: after I cook the beans and I am set to add them to my heated jars. Do I add the water in with the beans or just the beans alone in the jars? I would imagine you would have some sort of liquid in there. Half the videos show someone pouring water in(water the beans were cooked in) and others just skip over.

 Help!@?!

 and thanks,

Dan

don't cook the beans first, pack them in the hot jars raw, add 1/4 tsp of salt, add boiling water to with in 1/2" of the top add the hot dome lid then the bands and process in a pressure canner for 10 minutes at 10# pressure.
