| What all do you all carry with you? |
| What exactly do you mean by long-term? I don't carry anything I'd consider for long-term use. For me first aid is for addressing immediate, life threatening medical conditions, or conditions that could become life threatening. (Dehydration, infection, allergic reaction, etc) |

Depends on the season, but generally:
Quik Clot Ace bandages Assortment of bandages, gauze, tapes, alcohol wipes Pain killers Tweezers Ice packs Burn gel Gloves (multiple pair) Needles Super glue Knife Fingernail clippers Hard candy Mini flashlight Lighter Chem lights Anti diarrhea pills, tums, pepto, etc Throw away paper thermometers Q-tips Vaseline There is some redundancy within my GHB (get home bag) as well. |

Check out usnerdoc's level one kit video on youtube. He is an ER physician and has assembled a kit that is a good compromise between portability and capability
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P60_sELRkqw I added a ace bandage and a buttload of ibuprofen so I could wrap an ankle and keep moving in the event of a sprain. |
