I am thinking of adding the MSR 475 ( I think that is the right size) pot for my bug out bag. I think this is the small one they offer. Is this the right size for one person or should I consider going up to the next size of 775??? Also what utensils would you consider to add with it. Thanks

Snow Peak No. 1

Holds 4 cups and is super versatile. I ate supper from one last night, and cooked bacon and eggs in it this morning.

The MSR is a good pot, and locks down nice, but I don't like cooking with it over a fire and trying to dump anything out of it can be a pain since the handle will fold over.

The Sea to Summit alpha utensils are nice

I have a light my fire spork and I don't like the ergonomics of it, for the extra fractions of an ounce I would rather have a dedicated spoon and a dedicated fork, makes cooking so much easier.

Don't fall into the titanium trap, although it is a super cool material the anodized aluminum utensils hold up just fine, mine still look new, eating doesn't put too much stress on them.

I have those utensils  too, they are great.  I do use a Snow Peal spork though too
