I want to get something for trail riding, hunting, and practical utility in the great outdoors. I'd like to hear opinions from those who have them, or have had them. Pros vs. cons for each style, noise, capabilities, etc.

I have had both and really like both... I guess it comes down to whatever serves you best and whichever you like more, or are willing to spend more money on.
A nice sideXside is almost the cost of a new vehicle, where a very capable ATV is 1/2 that. I do a lot of firewood and plowing and trail riding with my Honda ATVs and they are great for that. I would not say one is better then the other but each have their purpose and utility. six to one half a dozen the other? Apples & oranges?

| The ATV gets the nod for carrying around in a truck easily and for best off road capability. Everything else goes to the UTVs. We have an older yamaha golf cart that we have modded heavily with lift kit and engine mods, etc and that thing is just so darned handy. We have used it for everything from hauling around sacks of deer corn, seed for foodplots, water for garden, firewood, etc. I could go on and on about it but I'd highly suggest you just try them both as they all have good and bad points. |

UTV's cost a little more, and carry a little more.... (and are a little safer in a roll over)
Get both! or one of THESE! RB |

I just bought a rhino 660 for $4,000. Its amazing off road. The reliability is right behind Honda. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j26/louisianarebel14/20121208_112745.jpg Dang! $4K? Did you get a title with it?
