Bought one many moos ago, but don't recall where I got it. Wish I did b/c I love the little thing.
I'm looking for something with good output, but in a small package. I'd also be interested in something about the size of a weapon light (Won't be using it as a weapon light) Would like to keep it under $25 |

Streamlight microstream AAA. Plenty bright in the dark, and good runtime. Cheap, plentiful batteries.
2 way pocket clip- 1 way is deep pocket carry, the other is to clip to a hat brim. Comes with a replacement switch cover as well. Trust me, buy one Pelican 1910 is another pocket AAA thats a little brighter....but will be decreased runtime. |

I bought my latest pocket carry at lowes it is a Coast PX25 ($40) runs on 3AAA that are still the original from july when I got it, it's rated at 200lumens. I use it at work and here it is November and still puts out enough useable light from the batteries it came with. |

pocket led single A
I have six and will order a dozen more. They work, and they are cheap, and can run my eneloops in them. |

I carry a Fenix E01 with lithium cell on key chain...Streamlight Tac Pro 1 (a little more than your price range) with Leatherman in belt sheath... you might check with Solar Force HK... they have a variety of 1 and 2 cell bodies from which you can assemble your own light with their light modules... takes about 2 weeks shipping...read the descriptions carefully

I carry an eGear Pico light clipped to my SAK. It's tiny but throws plenty of light (10 lumens) to get around or perform tasks. |

These are actually the ones i was talking about. I bought 4 for 5 each shipped! Off ebay recently from a HK seller. The best 5 buck light ive ever seen! Do i expect it to last like a surefire? Maybe not but then again i can buy 6 or 7 of these fore the cheapest surefire. I also like staying with common batteries than 123
