A good friend of mine finally got around to publishing his book on emergency communications. He only dove into it about 8-10 years ago and has really learned a lot and has been continuing to apply his knowledge and experience to some non-profit organizations and emergency planning organizations. This is a great primer for those who are serious about considering options for emergency communications; from simple options to amateur radio.
Personal Emergency Communications This isn't just about communications equipment; it's about how to integrate the various options in your emergency planning. What I like the most were the imbedded scenarios, most fiction but realistic. These situations identify the equipment which could be used and planned and executed for emergency communications. He has a cheaper Kindle version, but if you're interested in options and ideas for your emergency communications planning, this is a great primer. ROCK6 |
