It will be my BOB, to put all that I need into it...I have a lg alice pack but it's to big and bulky. The maxpedtion stuff I see have a ton of things I can attach to the outside of vulture-II. This is what I was gonna get until I seen the motherload. Thanks, Chris |

May I suggest you go here:https://www.entrygear.com/onsale.asp, scroll down a little bit, and have a look at the packs made by SDS (Specialty Defense Systems)? SDS is an official US Mil gear supplier, and their quality is usually quite good.
I bought their Conflict pack for $85, and am quite satisfied with its' features and quality. Other purchasers have also posted positive remarks. The $85 is a stupid low price for what you get in the Conflict. I am about your size, mebbe a little bigger, and the conflict can be adjusted to fit me just fine. Any of the other SDS packs that have "Adjustable and Redundant frame sizing and attachments" should have the same suspension as the Conflict, and should also fit you. Call them and verify; they are very helpful. I dunno about other packs, and you should look into it carefully before buying a pack that mebbe has little or no adjustment to its' suspension. Be a waste to buy a pack that didn't fit, right? See my review of the pack here:http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=10&t=334683. Grey Ghost Outlet has some packs made by Tactical Tailor that might interest you:http://www.greyghostoutlet.com/ SDS, TT, Maxpedition, and Camelbak are all top-quality mfrs, IMHO. disclaimer; no financial interest. Just remember: It is a lot easier to make a big pack smaller than to make a small pack bigger. Hope this helps. |
