Do you carry with the bag on your strong or supprot side?? I see adv/disadv to both.
-Strong side allows quick natural access to weapon. However, can it get bunged up and interfere with your range of motion on your strong side?? -Support side requires weapon transition or cross draw, but keeps the bulk of the pack away from your strong side and keeps it free. I'm guessing there might be a lot of YMMV type answers, but I welcome any and all. Enquiring minds want to know. |

I do weak side. I am not a big fan of cross draw, but I am also not a big fan of having the bag flopping around on strong side after the draw. You laid out the plusses and minuses aptly, and it is a YMMV situation.
When drawing I unzip with weak hand while pushing the bag towards strong side, then draw with strong hand. I found the unzipping motion with strong hand followed by attempting to draw - without stabilizing the bag with weak hand, because the bag is not in position for it - did not work well for me. I guess others can do it... But I'm putting two hands on the bag anyway - one to unzip, position, and stabilize the bag, the other to draw. Personally, I only carry in the bag when wearing clothing not conducive to CCW. Vastly prefer to carry it on my person. I still carry the bag for reloads, FAK, other stuff, though. |

I carry mine on the support side. (I am right handed and bought the one you wear on the left side.) I did this because most of the time I wear my gun on my rightside when carrying. Also, I thought I might use the bag for active shooter kit (I am LEO) and I thought the bag slung on my left side would be easier to manage and load out of while the rifle is in my right hand.
w12x40 I would like to see the diaper bag set up if you got photos. I have used it for that a few times also. |

| I carry mine on my strong side. The fabric is stiff enough that I can leave the CCW compartment unzipped if desired, yet will not show the contents. The bag is at a natural height to rest your arm if you need to without looking awkward; you could even wrap your hand around the grips without showing any threat or intent. |

Type S, weak side to keep strong side (RH) clear for IWB carry... +1 I do the same. This too. Why do you use IWB carry instead of the pouch? I don't always take the Versipack on me and even when I do I may leave it in the car or otherwise get separated from it. The pistol however stays on me. My Versipack has mostly FA and comfort items, food, extra ammo mags and things like a knife, whistle, extra cash, etc. |

Weak side, so I have access to my weapon where it's supposed to be: on my hip.
I can't imagine purposely putting myself in a place so dangerous that I had to keep my weapon in immediate grasp from a bag. Bags get forgotten and left behind, and they are the first thing that gets taken from you if you are robbed at gunpoint. |
