Target has a $1 section at the front of their stores. They currently have mylar emergency blankets, splinter removal kits, and 5-in-1 whistle, compass, mirror, waterproof matches, on-a-lanyard survival aids. They also have the generic BBQ/Fireplace lighters, cylume light sticks and some small zipper pouches that they call first aid kits. The pouches are red with black lettering and are nice enough if you plan to dump out the 2 Chinese band-aids and whatever other crap that was in there to fill with your own supplies. Not bad for a buck! A few months ago I prepared mini-GHB's for my wife and in-laws to keep in their desks @ work so what I picked up today is really just to supplement what I had already packed for them.
