Just scored some stuff from work. Not major amounts, but Dick's (where I happen to work  ) just put a bunch of stuff on clearance. I got a Panasonic Toughbook from my job for $200. It's the nice mini-briefcase style CF-29 model with good specs (Pentium M 1.4 and 768MB RAM with touchscreen). I figure if I'm going to drop a laptop of some sort in my BOV (in the works) then it may as well be indestructible. The one I got usually runs around $1500-$2000 used in good condition. I work at a computer place full time. Then I also found that my part time job (every other weekend) allows me to buy NIB Glocks for $400 and tons of other stuff around 20%-30% off at a local gun store. Nice grab on the pack Protus! |
