Bass Pro has nice SS cups for cheap that fit right onto the bottom of the standard round nalgene.

| Serious question.....What's the big deal with Nalgene bottles? Am I missing something? I have tons of sports bottles both pop-up dispenser type and ones nearly identical to the Nalgenes in all sizes and I really don't see the benefit of these over the others that are 1/4 the price. My little cheapies have worked well for many years camping and hunting so like I said what am I missing here. |
| sweet love that coupon code, got some bottles to try but my main find was a new 96 oz bladder for my camelback. mine is the original bladder from my mule and its probably 15 years old now and tastes horrible, now to find a new carrier for it, surely there is one more comfortable than the mule |
Yeah, I picked up their pack with the 96 oxz bladder for me and the one with the 64 oz bladder for my finace, plus extra bladders for both, along with a bunch of bottles. Spent about $125 and think it was a great deal. Got the steel cups from the link aboce for BP for the 32 oz bottles, too. This stuff was all on my shopping list and this coupon was excellent timing for me. |
| which bottle would u recommend for the 32 oz, the wide mouth or the narrow mouth for survival, because i will purchasing the ss cups from bass pro and i figure i could just cook up small stuff in those instead of boiling water pouring it into the bottle and mixing stuff in |
Wide mouth for survival. It's easier to fill with snow, to melt into drinking water, in cold weather siuations.

Nalgene bottles are well designed and guaranteed to be leak proof.They are made in the USA which Im sure the El cheapo ones arent. I payed about 5 bucks each for a few Ill probably own forever.You will find the stingy man always pays more when all your gear is covered in grape drink. They really arent that expensive.A gallon of gas is 3 bucks right now , a combo meal at a fast food joint is 6 the few extra payed for a superior product doesnt even make me blink. |

well my bottles a SS bass pro cups from the link up top just showed up, and i dont know if anyone else is havin this probelm but my SS cups wont fit on the bottom of the nalgene bottles, i have the 32oz wide mouths, and just like it says on the bass pro page, they will fit that size, but mine dont, any suggestions? |
Call BP customer service and tell them their product doesnt work as advertised - I had this problem once before and thought it was an isolated deal with the SS cups I bought locally at the Grapevine TX location. Supposed to fit and didn't. Took them back a week or so later and got replacements for free. The ones I had (and probably you do as well) fit the 'soft' Nalgene bottles but not the Lexan ones. I don't know whats up with that as they all have the same product number. |

I just called them yesterday. They got my stuff shipped out. They lady said they were extremely short on stock, something about tons of orders coming in (thanks ARFCOM). Go figure. But she also told me that they just got a shipment in, so check out your order page and maybe it will be updated. BTW, I ordered the 32oz Survival Kit. |

| It did take forever to get my shipment from Nalgene. I sent them an email and they never bothered to reply to the email. I would imagine that they had so many orders with the 50% coupon and it just took much longer to ship. Fortunately, the bottles shipped from NY and I live in PA. It took two weeks for me to receive my order. |

They don't ship until they can ship everything in the order, so if you have backorders, they'll hold the entire order. When I called last Thursday I had one item out of 15 backordered and they asked if I wanted the order released, so everything went out Friday, except the backordered item. You have to call them to do this though. |
| I still haven't received my order yet. I placed my order on the 24th. The lady on the phone told me that she would release my order and will ship items that's not on back order. It's been 2 weeks and still have not received anything... Anyone else having the same problem?? |
| I placed my order on 8/25. I just got off the phone with Shannon at Nalgene customer service. She said one item, the 96 oz. Cantene, was backordered. She apologized that the website hasn't been updated to reflect this. Shannon indicated they will have the item in-stock by week's end and the whole order should ship by the 26th. We'll see. |
