Does anyone make a hand-cranked generator that you can use to re-charge batteries?

You may be able to find an old military surplus generator out there somewhere but freeplay makes this:

are we talking about AA batteries or car batteries here?

It just happens that I was reading up on that very item a few days ago.  To achieve a full charge, I believe I read it takes 2-4 hours to fully charge the unit using the foot pump.

I think one might be better off with one of these...
