You have to hike 100 miles to your destination after an event.  You have a bag that can accommodate an AR pistol with 7.5" barrel and folding brace, CZ Scorpion pistol with folding brace or a handgun.  You are likely to encounter MZB's during your trek.  Which weapon do you choose?

Poll does not reflect all choices.  Excuse the operator error.

A Glock 17. It's easier to conceal and it's easier to deploy from being concealed. Either way, you don't stand a chance against a large group or armed men. Avoid a confrontation at any reasonable cost. If cornered and threatened with death , a surprise offensive with a handgun may be your only choice.

If the area is controlled by military, I would never carry a firearm and would travel very light, wearing bright "every day" clothes.

What I am understanding is you are taking an AR pistol and an additional choice of a CZ Scorpion pistol or regular handgun?

I think it's a no brainer to have a concealable handgun at all times...wasy choice.  The AR pistol is more of a SBR if set up right, but havimg the ability to go comcealed is always a good option and a handgun would be much faster and easier to access.

I'll second the concealed glock 17 and also have a suppressor in the pack god forbid you have to engage in a fire fight.

You'll have to excuse me, I've only been here since the late 90s.  What is an MZB?

Mutant zombie bikers.  From "Lights Out" by our member Half Fast.
I screwed up the poll.  Ar pistol or scorpion or handgun.

Your poll question is confusing. You say:

"You have a bag that can accommodate an AR pistol with 7.5" barrel and folding brace, CZ Scorpion pistol with folding brace or a handgun"

...which leads me to believe that we must choose only one weapon, and one of those options is a AR pistol - but which is not a poll option.

Because you also included "You are likely to encounter MZB's during your trek", I'd want to have the best weapon in terms of firepower (and ammo capacity) available, which would be a AR pistol, but short of that, I'd take the CZ Scorpion over a regular handgun if I knew I was going to get into a fight. If I wasn't planning on getting into a fight - ie, if avoidance was a feasible strategy (it isn't in your poll), then I'd take the easily concealable handgun.

Your poll question is faulty.

"Hey Pedro, would you rather wrestle a bear or karate fight a moose?"

"Karate fight a moose"

"OK, it's your funeral."

This.
ETA give me a 10'' barrel on the AR and I might go with it but I feel that the 7 inch barrel rules it out over the lightweight G34.
