| Randomness on another forum said the French Army was already out collecting guns tonight as a result of the attack(s). Anyone have any solid evidence/news about it? |
|
A Washington Post article from last January estimates that the number of illegal guns in France is now at least twice the number of legal guns.

Quoted:
10000 refugees landed in new orleahs yesterday, this will be great. Well, just the first of 10,000...reportedly to be dispersed to 186 cities...can anyone say "extremist-terrorist" Trojan horse? American soft targets...marathons, parades, outdoor concerts, churches, shopping malls, etc. Stay alert, carry at all times when legal and avoid mass gatherings when you can't carry. ROCK6 |

I avoid all places I can't carry, AND all mass gatherings. As much as I would like my own isolationist policy...life just doesn't allow me to avoid them all. Between school and church events, work and wife-forced social events, I just can't go into social-lock-down. What I can do is a thorough risk assessment, maintain a high level of situational awareness and my wife has agreed that if a large event seems a little out of control or poor security, we leave immediately. I do try and limit events or locations I can't carry concealed...but when I can't I just really have to keep a high level of situational awareness and profile the hell out of people that standout to me. Additionally, it's advisable to know and position yourself close to emergency exits and identify hardened barriers that could provide some form of cover; avoid elevated positions that don't allow a quick evacuation and never get into a boxed position or funneled field of fire zone. You can't stop living and exercising your freedom of movement, but you can educate yourself and more importantly, your spouse, kids, family and friends. It's a balance of reality, but more you avoid target rich areas, the better your odds of surviving these future attacks I can only predict will occur on our own soil to the degree that occurred in France. ROCK6 Same here. I have to live near a large enough airport for work, travel to major cities non-stop, and want good schools with a good amount of competition for my kids. I like to be out. I carry everywhere I can and avoid areas and events I feel are more risk. At large events we try to stay outside of the middle of the mess and not next to the prime areas (stage, finish line) where the largest impact would be. If we never leave the house and live under a rock, they have already won. |

ROCK6 If you start living in fear then they win. There's things you can do, places to avoid, days to avoid, preparations you can make and tactics you can implement to improve your odds should you ever be involved in such an event, but at the end of the day you have to keep living and enjoying your life. Being prudent is the best solution, aware of your surroundings, trained and armed at all times if possible.
Not living is fear is what we need to do just be prepared. We also need to prepare for the knee-jerk reaction so it would also be wise to purchase those items we know will be the target of the hand wringers, apologists and socialist scum who want to eliminate them from civilian ownership. |

Re: Trojan Horse. I'm still trying to figure out if Obama is merely incompetent or in cahoots... You're slow. Let me help you out. *************************************************** Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Q. What has Obama done that has benefited this country? A. Not one damn thing. QED, his choices instructions are deliberate, all intended for one end. Ours. *************************************************** Once is chance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action. *************************************************** Simple enough? |

If they really are collecting guns my bet is they skipped right to the "M" section of the list. Specifically people named mohammed. Of course it won't stop there, but I would bet on that being the starting point. I might support that profiling ![]() Except that after the muslims they will come for the next group, and the group after that until they run out of groups. |

Look at the targets the radical evil terrorists have chosen. Those same targets will be the targets that are chosen against us. Why? Because they have worked and have been highly successful.
I think movie theaters will be one of the places that have the highest chance of a terror act. I went to a movie theater today with my wife and two of our grandkids. We had a good time. However, I would NOT go to a movie theater or similar places without a firearm. The theater I went to had a sign prohibiting firearms inside. Clearly signs like that will work out well in the event when this evil comes to our hometowns.

I pay no attention at all to signs saying "Victim Rich Zone". I used to paranoid of guns, and loaded weapons gave me the willies. I got over it after my Radio Shack incident. Carry loaded with 2 extra mags all the time now. While there is an increased likelihood of a terrorist attack because O$hitforBrains wants a porous border to allow illegals in to hopefully become future Dimocrats, I carry primarily to protect myself, my wife, and my family from everyday, run-of-the-mill thugs, bangers, and psychopaths. But, if I'm ready for them, I'm ready for ISIS, too. |

I'm convinced something like this will happen in the US soon. I believe at this very moment they are planning for it. Imexpecting a
Combination of improvised explosions (mostly) in populated areas and gunfire with terrorist wearing body armor around Christmas time. A synchronized attack With other cooporaring Muslim terrorist at different locations. If I were a terrorist that's the time I would choose, people are completely clueless and distracted with materialism at that time. A good opportunity to maximize bloodshed and a way to instill fear in Americans celebrating there "pagan" holiday (From the view of the Muslim) Be vigalent this Christmas/thanksgiving season |
