I am on Nextdoor that links my neighborhood to others.
Someone posted about a Honda generator that needed a new pull start coil. I asked how much and she said $50. She is moving and didn't want to take it with her. It's a Honda EB3800x. I took it home, drained the oil, put in Royal Purple, put in a new spark plug and refilled with high octane gas. The pull start was broken so I started it with an electric drill and socket and it started right up! Finally, after reading all of the garage sale scores on here, I finally get one!!! |
