OK, my goto generators are an EU2000 and an EU3000.  Well, I must have gotten some bad gas as after setting up for a few months, both needed carb work.  I keep fuel stabilizer for ethanol and seafoam in my genny gas.  SO, question.  Is it better to keep treated gas in them, or just run them dry when done using them?  For the cost of repair, I can sure afford to run them dry if that would save the carb's.

Any other input appreciated.  I have found a local gas station that sells alcohol free gas, so that is all they will have from now on.

Run dry. Use Stabill and do NOT use any ethanol. You will replace MORE carbs. Been there, done that. (BTDT)

I ran mine dry without fuel treatment and the jet is now clogged. This was just starting it up when I first purchased it for a function check.  Two weeks later I can only run it with the enricher on.

I use stabil in tank as soon as I fill it, all ways shut the  fuel valve and run the carb dry. I generally start my genny twice a year and put under load for an hour or so. I have never had a problem starting or running. I love stabil!

I run mine dry.  I just close off the fuel valve while it is running. If fuel is to remain in the tank. I try keep it full as possible. All my fuel is non-ethanol kept for one year only and stabilized with Sta-bil and startron at a two year dose. I also run my genny under a load every month. for an hour.
