Okay, not really survival related, but this is my favorite forum and knowledge here is unbeatable.  So, I'm looking for a decent weather station that will accept multiple sensors (I may use them to monitor my crawl space where I ferment beer--and lager too)  I have the Sam's Club cheapie and as soon as I changed the batteries, it now won't find the outdoor sensor.  I googled this and found I'm not alone, and I've tried all the online actions that corrected this same problem for other people--to no avail.

What do you have experience with?  Pros and cons of different systems.

Thanks!

I have a Tycon TP1080WC. My only regret is that it has to be connected to a PC to update the online sources. I should've ponied up the cash for a Davis that's fully self-contained and can update w/o requiring a computer. I've transitioned to a laptop as my main computer so w/o an upgrade I'll have to run a dedicated wx computer.

I enjoy being able to look at the weather at my house from work. Also cool to watch the history and see how things have been going (rainfall, wind, etc)

Over the last 15 years I have gone through 3 Oregon scientific stations, their solar charging devices are finicky. I am now 3 years into a davis vantage pro 2 and it is by far a superior product.

Thanks everyone!  At least now I have a direction to go--and some to avoid.

Had one for the last 5 years.  Pricy but well worth it.
