Hello all,
I don't know why I never looked into this before, but after watching countless war/military/LE movies you always see them using silent hand signals when attempting to keep a low profile.  This seems to be invaluable especially for those that don't have coms.  Does anyone have a website or a PDF that outlines the basic rundown on how to use combat hand signals?

Thanks

You are welcome.

BTW I see this a lot in movies: forefinger and middle finger, pointed at both eyes. Does this mean "Look at that," or "Watch out," or what?

(The "hand signal" arguement in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" was hilarious!

The biggest thing is to keep to the basics and make sure everyone knows what they are.

depends on what you want it to mean...in my platoon we used it for "security up"......or it could mean "eyes on" something...
